My 'Chanic
Miss V: "What's a 'chanic?"
Me: "A mechanic is a person who knows lots of things about cars so they can keep them safe and working properly, and fix them if they break down."
Miss V: "Do cars break?"
Me: "Mostly when cars go to mechanics they stay healthy, but sometimes they get so unhealthy that they stop working, and then a mechanic will fix them."
Miss V: "Why?"
Me: "So that people can drive them again."
Miss V: "Oh. Kewl."

Miss V: "I'm drawing a car, a'cause I be a 'chanic!"
Miss F: "Why?"
Miss V: "A'cause I will fix daddy's car so he drives it again!"
